My son's Dell was having connection problems too, but that was before the Extender update and since then I've updated his wireless adapter and his seems OK now.

He ends up having to restart his wireless adapter on the laptop. His connection will hang and then he gets the administrator login screen for the Extender which shouldn't happen. "appear" to be working with the Netgear Extender update, my husband's Apple laptop now has problems with the wifi network connection. Now I'm thinking it may not be Roku entirely. No, I still don't have a fix for the problem.

I can bypass the extender and have the Roku unit connect directly to the router, but the signal is poor and not very good for streaming movies.Īny suggestions? Can someone tell how to go about creating debug log files? Thanks. Tried rebooting the router and the extender, changing the channels, updating/resetting the Roku units, disabling the network pings on Roku, and some other things to no avail. To me this says there's a problem with Roku. All the above mentioned devices can still connect through the WN3000RP except for the Roku units. Everything was working fine until last week when I updated the firmware for the WN3000RP (V1.0.2.64_1.1.86). I have iPads, Windows 7 & 8 devices, Playstation 3, and Roku units that connect to the network through the extender. We do know that it is getting past the passphrase because we entered a bogus passphrase and right away we got an error message. I'm having a problem with some Roku devices and my extender (Netgear router WNR3500L and the extender WN3000RP.) When I attempt to connect to the extender, Roku can connect to the wireless, but it fails to connect to the local network and internet.
